Development is continuing (slowly) on the benchmarking tool meantioned back in Nov of 2003. It will likely be targeted to only support 10.4 and later because of features that I want to use the tool (CoreImage, CoreData, etc.). So expect to see first release of this tool sometime shortly after 10.4 is out... the name of the product will likely be Molten Glass.

Development has begun on a simple Mac OS X based system level bench marking tool. This tool will leverage the Accelerate framework (and friends), an advanced data processing toolkit, provided by Mac OS X that is optimized by Apple to leverage the special capabilities of the G3/G4/G5/etc. processors families. The tool will only support Mac OS X 10.3 or later.

Development on Fibre Channel drivers for the QLogic SANBlade family of adapters has stopped at this time due to lack of a developers agreement between Freetime Software and QLogic. Also potential conflict of interest issues exist with my current employer (yeah I have a day job). I would like to resume and finally complete development if at all possible but I can not give any dates for this. If development is resumed I will only support Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
