*B Echo Hill's King Rohan is a gorgeous second generation Mini Nubian buck, with width, depth, spring of rib, and dairy character to spare.  His photos really don't do this boy justice!  His ears and nose are fabulous, and he has sharp, well-set shoulders and a beautiful, high, wide escutcheon with flat, incurving thighs.  His only drawback would be a somewhat short body and short, angled rump, though it is wide and flat.  His mother, Olivia, has an incredible udder, both fore and rear.

Rohan is small, and he will definitely bring down the height of taller does.  He is a good choice to breed to standarn Nubians, to get that lovely breed character.

Rohan is super sweet and easy to handle.  He is always a gentleman.  He throws his temperament, too - all his kids have been mellow and sweet.

Rohan's first daughter I've kept should freshen in 2008, so I can't wait to see what improvements he can make on udders!

Wrangler's 2006 buckling, Blue Oak's Silversmith

Rusty Nail Acres Wrangler is a third generation Mini Nubian buck, owned by Meghan Sheen of Dusty Trail Ranch.  He is very long and dairy, and has a straighter, longer body and more length from hips to pins than many Mini Nubian bucks.  He has beautiful pliable dairy skin and a sweet temperament.  His dad had fabulous breed character, and Wrangler's nose is still growing. Wrangler's granddam, Lady Roo, has one of the best udders Echo Hills has bred!

Though his breed character isn't the best, Wrangler improved the ears and nose of all his offspring, pictured below, even on does with airplane ears.  He also added length and levelness of rump.  He has  a very nice escutcheon.

Wrangler does have a narrower chest width than I'd like to see, but his offspring have all had nice wide chests.

I will be breeding Wrangler to Meridian for 2007 kids.

Smoky was sold as a baby, then came back when his new owner couldn't keep him.    Worked out well, so I can add Sapphire's incredibly high rear udder and lovely udder texture to the mix.

He has been bred to Jacob's Pride Rock Steady (Nubian)  and Saada Snickerdoodle for 75/25 2008 kids.   Those kids should have great potential for show and production!
