Goats
Our goats are raised on a strict CAE prevention program. Kids are pulled at birth and fed heat treated colostrum and pasteurized milk. They are started out on a non-vac lamb bottle and then trained to a Premier-style bucket feeder.

Apache is a black doeling with white spots and brown ears - very pretty! I feel very lucky to have this doeling, as she has SGCH Saada's Lemon Albedo as a major contributor to her pedigree. Both her sire and granddam were recently awarded the Superior Genetics (SG) designation! Apache has good structure and rear end assembly with good width and a high, gorgeously wide escutcheon. She is developing a nice body capacity and depth, and I hope she will carry through with the tradition of strong breed characteristics and fabulous milk production. Unfortunately, her dam, Saada Blue Micah Jaydo, passed away soon after kidding due to recurring mastitis and we don't have any photos of her udder, but Micah had a high, wide rear udder and a fantastic foreudder. Her sire, Gandolf, has also passed on.
Apache freshened with a very nice udder - great attachment, capacity, production, and width - but for some reason, she is producing far less on the left side, making her udder uneven. She's never had mastitis, so I don't know if this is a fluke or something hormonal. She could, though, freshen with an even udder next time. Although she's one of my sweetest babies, she is being sold to make room for the up and coming junior does.

Sapphire freshened with a lovely udder, tight attachments, plumb teats, nice wide orifices - she milks out in nothing flat! Her udder skin is incredibly soft and I don't doubt she'll come into the production her pedigree promises. Sapphire was stunted as a kid, so she'll never likely make the height or size to be a really competitive show doe. But, she performs beautifully on the stand, and would make an outstanding brood doe for someone looking to add the Jacob's Pride genetics to their herd.

*B Echo Hill's King Rohan is a gorgeous second generation Mini Nubian buck, with width, depth, spring of rib, and dairy character to spare. His photos really don't do this boy justice! His ears and nose are fabulous, and he has sharp, well-set shoulders and a beautiful, high, wide escutcheon with flat, incurving thighs. His only drawback would be a somewhat short body and short, angled rump, though it is wide and flat. His mother, Olivia, has an incredible udder, both fore and rear. Rohan is small, and he will definitely bring down the height of taller does.
Rohan is super sweet and easy to handle. He is always a gentleman. He throws his temperament, too - all his kids have been mellow and sweet.
