Blue Oak Ranch was founded in 2004, as the beginning of many dreams.  We had despaired of finding suitable property in Santa Barbara when we happened upon a former avocado orchard.  The rest is history.  We are lucky to have slightly over six nearly flat acres – room for crops, livestock, fruit trees, and a pond. 

We are located approximately ten minutes north from downtown Santa Barbara on the Central Coast of California.  The ranch is an hour and a half from Los Angeles, and approximately five hours south of San Francisco. 

The sea air moderates our climate, with not-too-hot summers and mild winters, with our famous “June Gloom” fogs in early summer.
